It will still be the Kerrick series and run under sporting regs as required by CAMS no matter where they race.

sports sedans in 2009

I'm confused. By the sounds of things we probably need to wait for Dean and Mark to come up with something, or we will just keep going back and forth. Im goimg to read the proposals again i think i'm missing something.

I agree with Phast Phil that is is more then likely best to wait for Dean Randle to
make some comments regarding the plans for 2009 then to speculate about it.

The questionnaire put forward some interesting ideas so it will be interesting to see
what comes out of it. Maybe later on we can start a thread that people can post up
some ideas on how to get more profile and people involved in the Sport sedan
category, I know I have a few ideas in my head!

Has there been any movement on the dates for the 2009 season?

Thought they should be out already

sports sedans in 2009

Postby MrBoost » Mon Dec 15, 2008 8:27 pm

ive heard

april - wakefield - boring/terrible for sports sedans
june - mallala - sore ass
august - queensland raceway -nice

all above are shannons rounds

september - e.c muscle cars - awesome
november - sandown historics. - awesome

anybody see a big hole in that lineup? if this be the final one?

more than likely out of there hands i mean who would neglect such a track?

According to the management at QR the chances of QLD Raceway holding the Shannons meeting are slim at best. If the sports sedans want to run in QLD under CAMS it will be at Morgan Park.

I would love to see sports sedans at wakefield park...Great little track with great spectator viewing...Would be a shame if oran park were to miss out though...

I dont know Nadz but i think Oran Park closed last week for good. The one track i was really looking forward to would have been Phillip Island, but i guess there will other times i get to race there.. I am going to be positive...and give the guys a chance, im sure where ever we race it will be good.
