Thanks guys I hope I have a trouble free run as well. Don't expect big horsepower from this motor. This is a development motor put together on a rather small budget and I'll be happy with around 400rwhp. Now if someone would be willing to sponsor / donate me 20 grand then 800+ would be possible but then I have a couple of other areas of the car that would need work. Brakes and diff come to mind. Anyway I'd better get back out to the garage.

Well Practice did not work out as planed. Practice one and two were OK but after lunch the block oil adapter cracked and spat out an O ring and I dumped all my oil down turn one and two. Sorry about that guys. At the same time I had an exhaust coupling come loose which made the car real loud inside and I didn't realise what was happening until I got back to the pits. To make things worse on the way home the hilux over heated and blew a radiator hose on pennant hills road during peak hour. Not the afternoon I was planing. Made it home around 9pm. The offending adapter block will be binned and at first inspection the motor seems to have survived.

So who is planning on coming out to Bathurst for a look next weekend?

We are all ready to load up tomorrow and head off Wednesday night.

Hopefully we will have a trouble free run compared with last year
