C'mon Boost, you know you want to do it...............

Why still no support from NSW?

Victoria clashes with a State round at Phillip Island, so my umbilical brother Gilliland will be there :(

Still hoping for a reverse grid race to get on pole :D

Still no support? Are you serious?
There was good support at Eastern Creek. I don't care if this put noses out of joint on here but the national field would of looked pretty small at Eastern Creek without cars from ASSA NSW.

My observations:
1. Not everyone in NSW runs Dunlop. Some run Michelin, Kumho, Hankook, Pirelli so as the Kerrick regulations state they're not allowed to run.

2. A few cars sustained damage at the final state meeting with engine dramas and panel damage.
They're undertaking repairs which would probably be more of a priority at this stage.

3. Much like Mallala, Wakefield is probably not a big favourite among some drivers so they forgo a larger $ entry fee and save their money to run at a track that they like.

Settle down there Turbo!

Sorry I should have said "Why still no support for this round from NSW?

And yes I am serious.

Observations
1 - Good point, would open tyres have added any entries apart from Chris with all these damaged cars?
2 - Refer #1
3 - SMP Nth, SMP Sth, SMP GP. Three tracks to enjoy in one location. If only we had that choice here in Vic.

Will anyone at least be making the drive down to watch the action?
Yell out if you are as we may have a few spare tickets for those who make the trek.

I wish torana racer i really wish, been very hard watching ever round from the side line this year.
but in order to go fast i need to save the dollars! ill be watching from afar next year too.

There was at least 3-4 good state cars talking of running at the national round until the tyre thingy blew up.
most of the nsw guys run used michelin's they get for next to nothing or now the kuhmo's. bummer ay.

still where is the rest of the contracted cars?

i really thought birol cetin may have run in the camaro, dont know why he isnt the damage wasnt much on his car.
chris i believe was going to run as i heard kuhmo stepped up to the plate and said they would be ok with him
running dunlops, but he had a engine drama which stretched him too far to do the national round unfortunately.

I guess we need to get back over to your other thread torana racer as to how to get cars next year!
no one seemed to care to comment at all really, not a great sign. i did hear of a guaranteed two or
three extra franchises being purchased next year tho which is great, but not enough

As for the weekend i will be down on sunday with the old man who just got back from his first
big trip round oz, he is busting at the bit to see some motorsport, and i cant miss the chance to watch
when the nats come to nsw!!!

ill swap you eastern creek for phillip island, sandown and winton mate...... theres only two tracks
at e.c really, the north and gp, no one wants to know about the new bit, it sucks.
cant whinge tho, e.c is a great track.

Don't worry Damo. Dean has entered just late as per normal :-)

Be great to catch up with Mr and Snr Boost along with everyone else I've missed out on catching up with this year. Looking forward to a good weekend.

Well done to all competitors in this years series, especially Bailey for having a new car so quick straight out the box.... With Ricca and hossack constantly pushing each other in the battle for lap records, if they can find reliability they will be hard to beat next year...
#44 Datsun 240Z 6L Chev Sequential Hollinger..... (I Wish)....:p
