This was a weapon, where is it now?

Up here in Brisbane. Its currently being worked on to get ready for the Mt Cotton Hillclimb series next year. He was racing against me but it had major reliability issues (engine ect). Still has the Needham box, hilux rear end and insane bolt in alloy cage.
Here's what she looks like now:

Here's a quick pic of my car. Like the above RX3, its a fully body "Club Car" that i'll be competing with next year here in SEQLD with the Sports Sedans. It's going really well at the moment and i've placed 1st in all the Hillclimbs i've entered. Currently i'm .31sec off the all time 2000cc and over Sports Sedan record at Mt Cotton which was set back in 1992!!. Im sure i'll be able to break it on the last run of the year come 30th Nov. Ive also got the last Noosa Hillclimb for the year on the 15th 16th Nov. Back in July at Noosa I was coming 2nd outright from 134 cars including the usual 13/14 Open Wheelers, ended up 5th out right, only 1.2sec off the all time full body sedan record.
We've got some good things going on at the moment in the way of development of the car, but we wont be chopping it up - i'd rather go out and buy a Dick Ward S4/5 and utilise that.
The car isnt a Genuine Group C of course, but the wing an flares are, and off the Darrly Lea Chocolates Group C. Our aim is for light weight everything, grip and speed. For the moment its running an injected 13BBP which goes really well but something tells me we'll be upgrading to a Turbo version within 6 months or so.

Here's us at Leyburn Sprints - 5th outright from 190 cars, bloody cold!

Rd4 Mt Cotton Hillclimb, had just put a newly painted FG bonnet on, didnt have time to get the stickers back on!

Cheers, yes it looks a fair bit like the old Slick 50 car of McLeod /Bailey. I get asked all the time if it is it or not. If it was it would be as per the exact spec of the day, plus I wouldnt dare punt it as hard! My thing see's 11 - 11.5K rpms at nearly every Hillclimb, very spirited driving needed at the Hillclimbs, I wont be revving it as hard on the circuit though, plus we'll be pulling out the current engine for some special treatment before we hit the track next year.
