Nadz, we are in for Phillip Island and Queensland Raceway at this stage.

We are still working on some potential sponsors to see if we can get to all rounds in 2012.

The Schnider entry is being used by Bob McLoughlin (from Darwin/Brisbane but works in NZ) at 3 rounds and by Damian Johnson at PI. Sorry that it did not copy across from my list like that causing confusion.

Grant is building a Supra SS and decided to enlist as a registered entrant purchasing a full series entry and this has been onsold to Bob & Damo. I need to fill that entry for the remaining round at EC if anyone is interested in going to EC as a one off round at a shared price with Grant.

I hear this morning that the Youngs are planning a comeback but nothing first hand from them so it could be say so only?

All the same we are in a great position with 15 entrants at every round plus whoever else joins at some rounds plus the joint state/nationals at QR and EC and even maybe PI.

My team has been working as many days as possible to complete the Mustang and I am pleased to announce that the chassis will be off to the powder coaters later this week after a full body fit up last week. Most things will be ready to bolt on but still a lot of work to get to final completion. I am hopeful of being at Mallala but may be touch and go. These things take a lot longer to complete than anticipated. I thought 6 months but it has taken 12 as we could not stay on it full time as hoped.

Hi Guys,

Nadz44 you are correct in joining the dots... nice job! :D For what its worth the correct spelling my last name is Schneider but i'll let you guys off because its a bitch of a name haha.

From the contractual point of view i could see the commercial value in getting in at the ground floor. This will make things easier when the Supra is finished and ready to run in 2013... fingers crossed!

I'm glad i could give a few other guys an opportunity to race this year perhaps more than they would have originally. From where i sit the more sports sedans on the grid consecutively the better it will become. This year is the start of big things for sports sedans i have no doubt.

Hopefully a few cars nearing completing get finished mid season and can join in the later rounds.

If you don't mind me asking grant, how has it worked out for the better for you, just interested that's all, would like to know more about these contracts that have been written up, and how they will help the series.... Will there be info released to the average Joe blo like myself on the website??.

Well from where i sit giving a few guys my entry benefits me in the following ways:

1. Next year will hopefully be bigger and better if the first year is strong which it is. More people to race with is always fun.

2. When i approach potential sponsors i have the ability to say that it is nationally televised + live on the web.

3. Minimum 15 national cars + local cars for various state included rounds - This would probably make sports sedans nearing the biggest category in respect to competitors competing the full season for the Shannons nationals series.

All these things make commercial sense to me.

The bigger the show gets the more we can ask for sponsorship the better our category will be. With my sponsoring of a few guys entries its a small price to pay for potential dividends in sponsorship when my new car is ready to go.

With regards to info re: contracts etc Phil is the guy to speak to on that.
