Thanks guys, I am just a Sports Sedan tragic ;)

If Muscle Car Masters was in Perth, how many of us would travel that distance for a "non championship" event?
I understand fully the financial postion that Tony faces to come over here for each round.
To outlay what would easily be $5k just in costs to get the crew and car over would be hard to justify.
Surely with the 900+ logged Sports Sedans out there, we can find 38 who want to PAY and play?

I agree Torana, its a big commitment for Tony and I know when I spoke to him at EC he wanted to concentrate on the Kerrick series, which is fair enough.

I'd go to Perth though. But lets face it, I haven't got my car finished in time for the Sydney one yet :p

We would travel to Perth at the drop of a hat also. B)

Someone mentioned somewhere about Darwin.
We ran a HQ at their Nationals a few years ago and cannot wait to go back and run the Torana there.
Hidden Valley has a bit of every track and a LOOONG front straight.

Not yet Nadz. The "cheaper" clsoing date for entries is this coming Friday, so I'll probably hear from EC then. I'll be at Wakefield Park all weekend, so it will probably be Monday before I can update the list here. You should head down Nadz. There's even a Soarer running...

I've had a few responses from people saying they were putting in entry forms for MCM this week, so the numbers should increase a bit I'm hoping.

Im hoping it does grow, would be dissapointed if there wasnt a better showing... Are you finally testing the soarer toymax???, im workin sat and sun im busy so cant make it, what meeting is it???.

NSW State Champs, Round 5 this weekend. And nope, not my Soarer. Someone else has one, apparently...

I wish his lead was followed by other Melbourne based. Competitors like Geoff Mundy, Bob Gill, Dean Camm(he will probably run as he is a stalwart of the class)

Unfortunately "Homer" Camm won't be running at MCM. We had an unexpected big spend and time consuming repair after Eastern Creek. It was a rush to get the car to Morgan Park so now it needs a little TLC before the Island. Also his crew chief/ truck driver/ team chef/ Personal Assistant/ full time Gearbox rebuilder :rolleyes: can't get the time off work!

His name is John Henderson, but nobody I've spoken to so far knows the name. I have no idea about anything on the car, the entry was a surprise to me. On the entry list it is 3000cc, which is not the capacity for either of the normal Soarer engines. I don't know if anyone has spoken about it, or kept it secret. Sorry Nadz, not very helpful am I? I suspect it may be a car that has run in other things like supersprints and now is coming to play with us, but I just don't know mate. I'll let you know after the weekend though!
