thx dasnowman, i am ecstatic over the weekend even though i had an early retirement in race 2. I managed a 1.37.4 on old old tyres which blew me away. cant wait to see what it does on fresh ones! In race 2 i broke my holinger. No 1st or second gear anymore, pulling it apart soon to find out what happened.
Dad was going really well when it spat a front crank seal. He didnt have a new one and didnt want to push a wrecked one back in incase it popped out again and threw oil all over the track.
great to catch up with a few people, as gary said everyone is such a great bunch of blokes (and gals)
Thankyou to dad and 2002turbo for their help over the weekend it is always muchly appreciated. and thankyou to my fiancee for giving me the entry as my birthday present! cant wait to do more kerrick rounds in the future.
On that note thankyou to kerrick for your continued support it is fantastic! We tried to pay kerrick back in the best way we as a team could and took malcom for a ride in dads car around the creek on the thursday media rides session. He was 'blown away' to say the least. I can confirm he hurtled down the front straight at 276km/h in his run! which means he has now been faster than me! We also took my finacee nicole and dads cousin terry. they both managed 282km/h on the straight in there runs.
Now if we could only convert our straight line speed to striaght line speed with traction and cornering we could maybe give darren and tony a nudge! IF ONLY!!!

Yeah was a good weekend of racing and combined with some laughs in the pits with all the Sport Sedan characters I had a great time as always.

Well done to Nick on that awesome lap time and thanks to his better half for paying for his entry fee!
Both races on Sunday were awesome, in R1 Graham got a great start and Tony & Darren were really going for it racing millimeters apart, was real close!
In R2 they were smashing the lap record to bits, to see those two cars going that fast was a real privilege! There was some good racing throughout the field in both races which was nice to see. I got two mates (yeah believe it or not I do have some!) to come along who'd never seen a Sport Sedan race....haha I think we have gained two new fans!

Thanks to all the guys that raced their cars, the organisers for all the hard behind the scenes work along with financial supporters Kerrick & Air Technology Australia

man that chev must have some serious coin thrown at it.... it has to have at least 50-100 more than everyone elses. maybe that swanky swaybar has nitrous hidden in it!

Pretty Hard to believe the power that thing has , 1-2 car lengths down the straight is the difference between a good & a verry good Chev , 6-8 car lengths is unbelievable . I guess he just know lots more about chevs than Joe Gibbs , Hendricks & all of the best engine builders in Australia.........

Did anyone see Speedweek today?

We had it all OK until the end of Commodore Cup then nothing for half hour just as Sports Sedans would have been on

Yes, my PVR recording cut during the Commodore cup race and then motorcycle racing from EC just appeared in the recording....very strange.

Same thing here , i thought it was my Tivo box playing up , but it seems everybody had the same problem.
By luck I had a series link setup in my fox HDbox & the signal went through Fox no problems , so i have the full recording .
Might have to burn some DVD's :-)
