SBS Coverage of Round 1

Did anyone see the coverage of the first round!!! Only to showing 1 race (Race 2 The Clem Smith Cup, and I am happy with that race), but only showing highlights of race 3 was s bit disappointing, and nothing from race 1. Hope you guys get a better deal at the next round for TV coverage. Would have loved to have seen more action from the SA Round.

SBS Coverage of Round 1

I agree that it was nothing special and I will be talking to the producer to see if they can improve future coverage.
In my opinion it needs to follow the timeline. Eg qualifying results to start with and result of race 1 (often held on Saturday with no TV cameras present) so one can follow the grid for race 2 and eventually work out why the points resulted as they did.

I felt there was no flow at all, the footage darted from camera to camera and was all over the show. I think they managed to miss a lot of the action and there was plenty from my vantage point in race 3. Very poor directing job in my opinion. Hopefully PI coverage will be a big improvement; AVE can be hot and cold, sometimes they do a great job and the next time not so good.

I suppose any coverage is better then none but I'll agree that it was a bit all over the shop! Still it was good for the commentators to make a point of the Sport Sedans being the fastest bodied cars in the country.....
