I was clearing out my shed the other day and came across a box full of photos and in there was some old race cars. Noticably was the old build up photos of Tony Ross' FX. Here is a picture of the car at AIR in around 1981-1982. The car was built in Tony's dad's garage, all the fibreglass and chassis work done in that small shed. Bernie Pfitzner (Simon's dad) did alot of the engineering on the car like floating axles and gearbox internals. Brings back some good old memories. Yeah totally agree with you on that, looks far too tame like that.
Wish I still had the poster of it spitting out massive flames from both
sides when it had the twin turbo motor...what a beast!
