Could you go into a little more detail with what's in the car.

-Brakes
-Shocks
-Gearbox
-Hours on engine
-What's fresh and what isn't.

Oh, and a picture or 2 wouldn't go astray.

Cheers.

The brakes: Four spot racing calipers on the front and rear by wilwood the disks are vented.
Shocks: The shocks are carrera racing, all suspension is centered with levers out to the uprights. The suspension is also all rose jointed.
Gearbox: Six speed manual, close ratio close gate, out of a twin turbo supra.
Hours on engine: Since the engine has been built it has less than 12 in total.

Engine is very fresh it had crank, rods, and pistons were all crack tested. New rings, new bearings, brand new -12 brodex heads (ported larger). Brand new Cam, rockers. Also have changed the oil to a dry sump system, which is driven from the cam shaft. It has a new programmable ignition, will sell with spare magneto.

The only thing that would need replacing is tyres, they are second hand.

I'm sixty years old and it is a regrettable sale, Due to speedway over many years, my head injuries dont allow me to drive the car to its fullest potential. If your in the brisbane area, i am willing to pit crew and allow someone to drive the car and assist them in any way I can.

typo's??

if this car has 700HP at the rear wheels thats about 875 at the flywheel and it if has that much then hossack and sera would get blown clean off the road when it passes them down the straight

has it done any decent lap times anywhere with this much power?

does it have a holinger supercar box?

bryce francis? barry wraith?

wheres this car been i havent see it run because it sounds awesome for the price!

Sorry about the typo, I'm not the one typing, my son in law is and he doesn't know too much about cars, I told him that it was 650-700 at the flywheel, not at the rear wheels.

Personally I've done a 1:18, but I believe I do not give the car justice, my best racing years are behind me, and I believe the car could get a much better time with someone who could drive it to its fullest.

No it doesn't have a hollinger box, it has a box out of a twin turbo supra

it won the queensland state championship in 2004?? i think?. Not on outright speed but had excellent reliability.
is that the car?

yeh sorry didnt want to point things out if i was wrong but didnt think the numbers added up for a 5L engine. if it does though, top work!
where has the car been running lately? supersprints or something? it would need some lead added to it to make it legal in the championship.
is the other one of those cars the one that ran the v6 twin turbo by circle track wheels? or is it the same car with a diff engine?
tough looking civics thats for sure.

2004 the car was doing 1:19's around queensland raceway.

unless i have the cars completely wrong !

Yes it is, Barry sold it to me without a motor or gearbox, and I've taken it from there to as it stands now.

I haven't run the car for nine months due to medical issues and conflicting dates with speedway, when I did run it however it was at top-gear and a few sprint meetings. Also it won't need any lead added because its only a five litre engine.

The car your talking about is the only other one in circulation. Last I heard someone else owns it in brisbane and only brings it out once in a blue moon.

Yes it was doing a 1:19 around QR but since then its had a new engine with a lot more horsepower.

As said earlier it has a brand new engine and I've spent a lot of money on it to get it where it is.

Also, I'm new to the computer, so please excuse my poor computer skills

Hi Singletonracing,

Welcome to the forum, sure you will be sad to see it go. Fingers crossed it goes to someone who intends on running it regularly at a state and national level.

Now I thought there was 3 of them built and the below clipping must of been where I got that understanding from. I first remembered seeing one of them race in the early 90's at Oran Park supporting the ATCC. Pretty sure it was Stephen Voight racing it then. One of the Civics was used a lot in Hill Climbs for a number of years and one of them was involved in a pretty big accident at Lakeside at one stage. They could have been the same car. Would not be surprised if they all spent their lives in the Sunshine state.

Don't worry Jd Yort, there were three built, but unfortunately the big accident destroyed the other car, so there are only two left, the destroyed one is in about a thousand pieces under our house, some of the spare parts that come with our sedan are from the destroyed car.
