Sandown - Final Round

I thought this was a Vic State round aswell? Shouldn't you get the 10 or so entries from them too? There are also a few u3500 cars in the state series that should run... particularly the silver bullet, which I believe is the benchmark...

Toranaracer, do you usually race at the same pace as the Muscat rx-7?

Sandown - Final Round

We have a Vic state round this weekend at Philip Island, so i'm guessing that most of the state guys are gonna wait and see if there cars survive before entering?
Unless there's a huge catastrophe this weekend, I'd still be pretty confident that you'll see at least 20 cars on the grid for Sandown.

Sandown - Final Round

Yep I believe both the Muscat and Chambers cars will be there along with my umbilical brother Gilliland.

Holy crap this will leave me 4th in U3500NA at Sandown ;)

I would be happy to be 10th in class if it mean't there were that many U3500NA entries.

Well we all just received an email saying sandown may be OFF :o :o

There have only been 3, yes just 3 of us confirmed entries.

So come on, all those who said they were going to enter get off your arses.

Kerrick has arranged for something on the Sunday night so we need to make sure we do not let them down.

Sandown - Final Round

Toyzda, I only wish my little Folden was as quick as the Muscat car :(

The Chambers car is usually around the same pace as the Muscat car.

They are typically 5 seconds or more faster at both Phillip Island and Sandown than Graeme and myself :o

Anyway we have just returned home from the final round of the Victorian State Sports Sedan Championship and Chris Muscat has managed to take the trophy for 2010 by one point from Luke Chambers.
Graeme Gilliland was third with our Folden in fourth.

Talking to those who did run this weekend, they are keen to enter for Sandown.
We should hopefully get 6-8 local cars as a minimum for Sandown.

Ricey where is your entry for Sandown?

Loser is Deano going to enter?

Entry list is;

Des Wall
Darren Hossack
Chas Talbot
Graeme Gilliland
Damian Johnson
Phil Crompton
Scott Butler
Chris Muscat
Michael Robinson
Colin Smith
Luke Chambers
Lee Uhlhorn
Bruce Banks
Clive Ablitt
Dean Randle

Not the way I would have expected the final round to look like :(

Maybe everyone has been too busy dreaming about a possible Bathurst meeting?

Get 6 or more at each event and the under 2 litres would have their own class to race in.

What was the doom and gloom?
