Spoke to Nick (I wasn't at Wakefield on the weekend, was working instead arggghhh).
He said in race one it bogged a bit off the line so he gave it a bootful but then the engined chugged and stalled. He mentioned that he had been having some issues with the way the engine was running in cooler conditions as it has recently been re tuned however when the engine is cold the tune isn't 100%. Anyway at first he was worried about getting hit from all the cars flying past but everyone got through ok. Went to hit the starter button to fire it up and nothing, 6 month old battery was dead so couldn't get the car going again!
He fitted a new battery and ran the rest of the races doing some real good lap times, despite the fact the car was running out of brakes in R2 & R3 and the brake pedal was going to the floor which meant a few trips into the Wakefield Park country side, you're a nutter Nick!!!
R3 looked like a close finish between him and Graham too.
