I am curious about the history of this car if it is elgible for historic Sports Sedans. Any one know who originally raced it? Perhaps the English RX7? Falcon EL / Phast Phil I assume you would know..

This car is the ex-Graham Neilsen (part Spaceframe) RX7 (built for Graham by Vic Cameron?). It passed through a series of owners (that did absolutely nothing with it) after Neilsen sold it. Robert Coutts purchased it and totally refurbished it back in 2005, it runs a strong Mazda 13BPP built by Phil Laird from Graphic Skills Racing in QLD. This car holds the 2000cc-3000cc Lap Record at Morgan Park at a 1:04.2 which is very quick.
I believe it may be eligible for Historic Sports Sedans, but am not sure exactly when it first raced.
It was recently sold to someone in Adelaide, who hopefully will get it on the track down in SA at a circuit racing event or two!
