Driver Profiles

When will the driver profiles be updated. I have a few ideas how they can be alot more entertaining and im sure everybody else has ideas..

This is an old thread being revisited.... I think the driver profiles need to be updated with new pics and info, i would be happy to take some driver and car pics this weekend if your interested ssedan14....let me know....

Maybe we could think about implementing a Driver Profile section that is updatable by the driver by entering a Username/Password etc.

We've done this with the Queensland Racing Drivers Association (QLD Sports Sedan) website at http://www.qrda.asn.au where we can log in and change the details for Driver, Car and Team Profiles.

Yeah not a bad idea but most drivers wouldnt bother gettin on here and doin it....you would need to chase most of them...

Next year with the support of the CAMS national management, our faithful sponsor "Kerrick" and a return of a new / old series management team I will ensure all aspects of promoting the series via the website and print media is given a high priority.

In the end we (the series management) need to make things happen and we need people with the time, reward and dedication to make these things happen. This will be in place early well before the 2010 series kicks off.

An announcement on the 2010 series will be made quite soon. Most of the major items (race venues and finance requirements) are in place already and we will be on the front foot early with some pleasing announcements. Safe to say we are returning to a full 5 round CAMS national series for 2010 in 4 states with some jazzed up promotion and format plus up to 40 minutes per round TV.

Nadz44...that would be great...the biggest problem is actually getting the individual teams to provide updated phots/team info etc....any assistance from you would be appreciated by all

I'm guilty of not providing updates, we've all "got a bit on", but there's really no excuse apart from that. Mark is right, we need to assist the Series Managers in promotion by providing updated info - I mean this weekend promises to be the best National Sports Sedan weekend for a while with an awesome quality/quantity field , we drive the coolest cars in the best Series in Australia and the only people that know about it are ourselves..............
