i think we should have a race at the airport! two really really really big long straights with a couple of not very tight corners.....! haha

Is there any chance that the National Series would be comming down to Tassie at all, as it has been quite a few years since the National Championship Series has come down here (Keith Carling was still racing the 300ZX of Voight's), back in 1994 I think it was.

Not sure if the voight 300zx is the same car as Karlings as im sure karlings had a turbo six which was banned at the time for being to powerful...

i dont think it was banned was it? and now kerry's car is the ex 300. kind off.... it has bits of it. the voight car is completely different

Im pretty sure the 300zx voight ran was the ex graham bailey chickadee car. Not sure if he built it though.

yeh that definately is the same car. im pretty sure phil ryall built it with lorie attard. (the chikadee car)

Voight's car is the chickadee car, but as far as i new the car is the ex keith carling car, and i think Kerry brought it to get the moulds, (and the car was sold less the v6 engine), which in turn was sold to Graeme Bailey, and the chev engine was then put into the car. Keith kept the engine as he was (going to) building a new car. cant remember what it was going to be tho.As I think his old RX7 is still racing in oz somewhere.

im sure keith carlings old rx7 is the car that bobby irvin currently drives. I also spoke to damien jameson today and he told me the campbelltown frames boys are building a second xkr jag for him to drive ( daniel and damien are brothers).

nah carling demolished that car at mallala. That is a new car built by (cant member his name he has an engineering shop in canberra) with john keen and terry shiels assistance.

yes barry told me they were building a new one for damian and a new chassis fo rdaniel. awesome to have ANOTHER car.
