I was there and i was speaking with Darren Hossack who i have been a fan of for many years, i agree with what was said about Tony causing the first incident... I too believe it should have been darren complaining after that incident!! The race victory taken away from him was disgraceful!

Also, i have 2 photos of the race three incident i will post up in a few moments...

Im not sure Darren was at all entirely at fault, after all the frustrations given to him all day, naturally he would be feeling guilty about it though. Ill post up the pics.

Darren came 2nd overall for the day in the superkarts i believe so he is a very good driver and not in the habbit of throwing things away (which is how i became a fan, from bathurst 97 in the wynns commodore finishing 6th) anyway, will post up the pics... very upset to hear about the penalty for race three, while darren was on the track racing in the karts, tony was racing into the commentary box to complain.

Will have to get into contact with him tomorrow and see what he says about the future!

Ok heres my poor qulaity shots (compared to speedshots!) but oh well, thats what a normal camera does, wish i had one of those fast ones hehe!!

This is the damage to the rear of the audi after it was hit from behind due to the penalty which was wrongly applied (in my opinion) in race one!



...note, Darren not running off to those in charge!

Hard and frantic work to make sure race three would be better!



But then...







As you can see, i think theres plenty of room before the corner, as in tony turned in too soon/cut darren off a bit!? sure Darren was going to try pass but no racing room/sensible room was given!

Thats just my opinion which i think the pics back up?? Youre thoughts welcome!

Also, Darren, on the day seemed confident that the tv footage would show what really happened in the race one incident of which he lost his first place over! All too late though. I could see it and Tony went in 'way too hot'!

RACE ONE

As you can see in this pic, Darren and Tony are in similar positions as the incident in the third (same corner too!) Tony didnt turn accross darrens path this time, all made it through safely!














The racing was spectacularly close, the above two shots were the first half of the lap before Tony completely outbraked himself and the penalties came about... Darren actually crossed the line first in this race, des wall 2nd and tony 3rd after the off.
