We tested the rebuilt ex Bailey ex Calvert Supra at QR on Saturday with some succes .

Had some minor heating issues related to to fine a screen across the nose. :(

Also some holinger how the hell does that work in the gear change with driver.

Some vision issues with the steering wheel postion. B)

1:16 on old tyres but not consistant :p

Not bad for an old car and driver ? It attracted a lot of attention ! people still love the Big Guards and Wings ! B)

5 speed holinger

The trouble I was having is down changing from 5th to 4th to 3rd they need a fairly stout change or they bite you :(

1:08 is fast V8 race car qalifies 1:09 to10 races at 1:13 to 14 .

Also I was driving like a maniac once I started slowing down it all started to work better.

I was talking to Veteran Sports Sedan QLD legend Simon Harrison and he put right on a few matters .? ;)

Well done Famous for getting your car on the track. If you are racing a sports sedan in QLD I hope you will join the QRDA - go to www.qrda.asn.au for more info.

A 1.16 is not a bad time first up. That would put you well in front at the QR AASA events and around 4th or 5th at a CAMS state round (not that we go to QR anymore!)

So who is this Sports Sedan Legend Simon Harrison?? I've been around for a while and never heard of him. Not Simon Harrex by any chance?

So will we see you up at Morgan Park later in the year?

Simon Harrex  I always call him the wrong name sorry Simon ? ;)

Time is my biggest constraint at the moment with Buisness I can fit the Top Gear meetings in and thats about it .
