Results speak for themselves....turbos must put too much strain on a race car, all four turboed cars didnt even start last race, banks didnt run all weekend unless i missed him in the very first fri practice, judging by the black soot substance he must have had an engine fire????

Can you say someone has a engine that's been sorted out and had sufficient dollars spent on it out there?

Edit: just realized what i said, came out all wrong.

not even Kerry Baily is gonna run the v12, he has decided to stick with a chev because he knows they work, whereas a lambo v12 is not yet tested and probably wont make as much horsepower anyway...

hey profi not sure what mean by that one but i'm sure we have a decent combo to be competitive but gotta relise most cars aren't worth as much as the front 3 or 4.my engine finally let go after 4 years so can't really complain.ps if u look at qualifying and race 1 it'll tell u your answer.the top 3 chevs are surprised on how it's going

Their you go, You have a decent combo, but you haven't had the dollars to spend on it to get the full potential out of it.

What sort of boost are you using?

in trents defense i think his engine isnt letting him down at all, he is still sorting the suspension out and getting closer and closer to the top spot on a much smaller budget than the current bench markers.
how many top chevs out there do you think have been running for 4 years without a major rebuild???? lol

our car didnt fail because of an engine (for once and hopefully for a while)
bruce banks had a fairly big fire, so did des last year.... must be the turbo tho....
and we dont even know what happened to bobby.

what a ridiculous remark.

What i was trying to say is that there is hope for a turbo engine, it just hasnt been funded well enough (like the top v8's) to be up the front (top 3) and reliable.

Yes i do think Trents car has great potential, and 4 years out of a rotary is excellent. But it would be nice to see a turbo car with a Hossack or Ricciardello budget.
