John Briggs 96 CHAMP

I was reading in an old v8 supercar programme which had a profile of John Briggs. It noted he was 96 national sports sedan champ. What car did he race and anybody have pics or info on this car

Briggs raced the ex Greg Crick Honda Prelude (which won the 1991 ASSC).
The car has passed through a few drivers since and Charlie Sense now owns and races the car.

Would that be the same Prelude Kerry Baily raced for a while when he was building his 300zx??
