More brilliant work from you JD Yort!

Have to agree what an absolute beast the Peanut Slab Sierra was! Still can vaguely remember watching that race on TV, it was an absolute missile in a straight line.

Here is the race report form Auto Action in 1994:

That's Don Thallon in the Corvette. I think he still runs it in Marque Sports / Historic Events.

Its a little upsetting seeing all these fantastic racecars and then the catagory is struggling for numbers.

Lets get the heart rates up and get these cars back out on the track

:D

Good to hear that you had the Calibra out, how did it go, and how is your Fiat going, or should i say the new car. I remember you saying something about a new vehicle for you!!!! Any word on it yet!!!

If Im not mistaken the Peanut slab car was delayed in transport and didn't pratice then in the first race came from last to 2nd or 3rd and then broke down? It was a rocket ! B)

In the pits when they had the bonnet up it had a huge Turbo ! I think it droped a boost line off or somthing really simple ? :(

I cant remmeber the second race really well but it was an amazing car for its day and the effect it had on the crowd. :p

Go the Supra ! Its almost ready to test some time in the next 2weeks !

It got up to second or third I think from the rear of the grid before catching fire. There was a Hurricane that week which delayed its arrival so it basically went straight onto the track with no practice although Scott had driven a Merkur the previous year. There was actually a few Kiwi cars in the field both 93 & 94. I will have to go through and take some screen scrapes of the more unsual cars.
