Haha it was just a good guess! I've seen that car in a small magazine story, figured there can't be too many Toyota powered Nissan 180sxs getting around South Australia. Sounds like there are a few more cars coming together down that way which is good news.

Yeah were having our first meeting in 2 weeks. Have about 20 of the car owners coming so far. trying to get a static display at Mallala next week end the 28th sort of get them to clean up all the old cars and just bring them out and hopefully they will all get talking and create some of the old interest.

Turbo 13B Mazda RX7 series 4 built by Dick Ward recently purchased by a new Brisbane based competitor. Awaiting delivery in the next week or 2 of a brand new 550hp engine. Should be right on the money once the driver gets some laps and experience.

is that McPherson's old car?

Yep it is McPhersons car, a mate of mine purchased it. Motor delivered today. Awaaiting a new flywheel and then ready to go. Probably a few more weeks to piece it together for a test day.
He is a newbie, never raced before. He is of Italian heritage so a bit of sideways stuff should be in order.

Chasing reliability first but after a few runs the car should be up front at Morgan Park in particular.

Fired up the Mustang today, all the mechanicals back in place and ready. Just finished the repaired panels and they are off to the painters next week then we will do a new set of lighter ones and keep the old ones as spares.
