Amazing how technology changes in tyres, engines, aero etc. have made cars so much faster today. (also driver familiarity with the Island, because this was one of the first times Sports Sedans visited the Island since it was reopened). They mentioned Pole Position was a 1:38.74 which is almost doable by a 2-Litre SS thesedays (Uhlhorn was in the 40's last time out).
