Definitely makes for an interesting championship. Great reward to Shane and Bruce for consistency being 2nd and 3rd respectively.
I love the pointscore structure in the Kerrick Series, you've got to finish races and most importantly be around all day to finish the last one!
Both Shane and Bruce are going really well at the moment, 10's at QR isn't hanging around, Crompo was right in there also last weekend! Banksy made Shane work hard all weekend to stay in front of him! Whilst not quite at the pace of the top three guys, the two Camaro's are doing everything right at the moment, fast, reliable.... One slip up from Baily or Ricciardello and the Series could be anybodys.........
It was sad to see Damian Johnson have to pack up early with an engine problem, he had the Torana hooked up - 18's on a real horsepower circuit is bloody quick!!! Hope to see you, Andrea and Murray at PI mate, I know you were pretty upset on Saturday arvo. Dameon Jameson had a pretty tough initiation to QR as well, changed ratios a few times and unfortunately suffered an engine issue. A new engine for PI should see the Jag back up the front where it should be.
Good job to all my other QLD mates, Coxy, Bob, Smithy, Charlie, Jeff Barnes and Chris Aston. Robbo was mixing it up with the locals in some great dicing all weekend! Shane Hart was also very quick in their new car, 13's first time at QR is an excellent effort. They now need a gearbox than can handle the torque of the 13B Turbo!!
Can't wait for PI, should be a cracker!
