Sure thing....

I have a Group Nc logged Toyota Corolla Ke11. Has all the works and jerks of a normal Nc car. Very Very close to hitting the track. I just have to bolt the webers on to the new head and give it a tune and its ready for some fun. It is actually my first road car and i haven't sold it and probably never will (owned it for 10 years so far.) It's by no means fast but it is great fun.

I also help out on a couple of mates cars.

EH Holden - Having some fun

48-215 (fx) - The old girl

Mk 2 Cortina - Don't have a vid of this little fella.

I love the old cars. Way more character than new cars. They take a different kind of skill to get going fast. If i wasn't building the supra id be building a Chevy Nova or Mk1 cortina or something. Pity i have speed and G's on the brain!!

Do you have any Historic tourers?

KE11, they're a nice looking car. I remember one a while back that was light blue with white stripes. Good to see people going with cars other than an XU-1 or a GT-HO. Any pictures of it?

That EH looks nice, I like grey on those. Seems you guys up in QLD have quite a large field? We were at Eastern Creek last week running a 260Z with the HSRCA and the field was nowhere near that diverse! That Lakeside is a wonderful circuit isn't it?

Hard lick to that XY the poor bastard. Even tore the air cleaner off! Glad to see he'll get back into it, but it must have been heartbreaking. Hurts just watching the video.

I'm in the process of building an HQ for Nc. I had a red 308 in my street HZ doing sub 13's and it wasn't getting the attention it deserved on the 5 minute drive to work so I figured I'd pull the motor out and circuit race it. Been in historic racing with my old man since 1994 running a variety of vehicles from an MG Midget to a '68 427 tri-power 'Vette but this will be my first major foray into competitive touring car events. Ran a couple genuine HQ GTS sedans mostly in regularity but sold them when the aussie 'muscle car' craze was in full swing.

There was a Nova at the Creek last weekend but as usual the more exotic and interesting cars were the most unreliable unfortunately.

Your Corolla looks clean as man, be good to see it on the track.

Yeah, they mostly run Na/Nb together here with Nc separately here too. They are certainly strong numbers, I'd love to get up there some time and mix it up with you QLD boys.

That's a massive lick for sure, very happy to hear he was OK.

Looking forward to getting the HQ going soon, should have some good speed once I get it sorted. Just running basically the same motor as what came out of my road car (but I'm putting dual quads on) to run the car in and once I have the basic car sorted I will work on getting some more speed out of it.

Novas are a good looking car. The later model 4-doors leave a bit to be desired but the early group N eligible models are nice. Something about the compact-ness I think.

The 260 is a solid unit, constant work in progress but one or two improvements between each meet and it's getting faster.

Good to see people who love some quality historic racing too. I'm not too concerned about running up the front or at the rear just looking forward to indulging in a bit of history.
