86 rx7 body design

Hey all,

Name is jeff, i recently bought a 86 rx7 and would like to modify the body to have wider fenders. I really like the looks of Ivan Mikacs 20b, i know those cars are built on tube chassis but want to know what would be the best way to re-create that look on my streetable rx7. I'm new to car building and would like to hear any suggestions. I haven't seen any wide body kits that i like, so decided to make my own. Any tips would help tho
