When will the clock be adjusted on the website?

Postby Topgear » Fri Sep 23, 2011 12:02 pm

At 11.28am Adelaide time, it reads 1.58am...

Its not important as such, but if we want to be viewed as a serious category and be professional we need to at least be able to set a clock properly...??

Its only a little thing, but its the little things that count...

When I look at forums and websites of others I look for things to pick on, it shows me their attention to detail...

This clock has been wrong as long as I have been on here...

You have to go into forum controls edit prefernces and set your clock. It works fine on the east coast using hobart time GMT+ 10 hours

Hi Topgear,

Can I get you to check your Preferences for your own Profile?

Mine looks like this:

Your last post shows as 1.02pm (My Time, Brisbane Time), which appears correct.

Let me know if there is a drama with your settings.

Cheers,
CD.

Actually, I just checked your settings Topgear, and have adjusted them to Adelaide Time. As Dasnowman correctly points out there is a balls up with the Melbourne Time being +0 GMT. It should be +10 (So your Profile was showing GMT+0, Melbourne Time (which is incorrect in itself!!))

Not sure if I can tweak the Time Zone settings for Melbourne, this would probably be a setting built into the Board.

I've tweaked it so New Members are now defaulted to Hobart Time. Should solve the issue you mention Topgear. :)

Ive put it to MLB time which has Adelaide time reading 30mins faster...

Ive not seen that option on a forum before...?

Thanks Falcon EL for your prompt professional response ;)
