Here is an interesting thread over on the SAU forum about some guys that are building a GTR bodied Sports Sedan. Imagine the wild body kit they could have on it.

Could potentially create good exposure and interest in Sports Sedans from the Skyline / JDM masses.

Hey guys, my name is Brad.

I own the skylines you speak of. The white one in my avatar is also logged as a 3D car but is still a floorpan AWD. Its using a Dry sumped 900Hp RB26 with the best of everything. We only finished it a month or so ago so its still being sorted but has spat out a few mid 4's around wakefield park during testing. I've now religated that car to club racing and going to build this new one.

Basicly I got tired of playing with the skyline chassis, Ive owned and raced many of them and no matter what we do they are a compromise, there never going to be competative without bucket loads of money. I know Dave and the BSM boys are determined though.
The other car we've gone half way, it has wishbone suspension and so forth but is still not what I want.

This new one will be a RWD twin turbo RB, I have a holinger and diff for it which were planned for the other GTR. The build plan is to have the chassis done within a few months (I build cages for a living, mechanic in a performance workshop) then move onto getting the body work done while the running gear is overhauled and engine is built. Brakes and so forth I already have so everything is here its just a matter of doing it.
Suspension geometry will require some work as this is the first full space frame chassis I have built. I learnt alot from the wishbone work with the other car so should be right.

I do plan to race it in the NSW state titles, once I have it to a level where im happy to race it. Its certainly something different and will hopefully be competative.

This is the last white car I built, Its a little different body wise now but generally thats it.

Sounds the goods mate, make sure you keep us updated on progress.

Have a few questions, what sort of boost are you running to get 900hp?
What type of holinger and diff are you going to run?
