Now that phillip island is done and dusted what sought of lineup is expected. Hopefully a good field will show up with a few leading nswrrc drivers expected to turn up including Jackson in the calibra, McCready in his 300zx, Butler in the camaro and Said in his turbo Fiat. If these four can turn up it would be great plus you have Jamos Jag which hasnt run yet, Axisas c/dore and hopefully Smith in the turbo calibra....All in all could be a good field.. On top of that spectator entry is free on saturday and only $20 sunday..ill be there with bells on.....

Kerry Baily Qld 1
Bobby Ervin Qld 1
Charlie Senese Qld 1
Phil Crompton Qld 1

Jeff Barnes Qld 1
Bruce Banks Tas 1

Hopefully we get a couple more but EC is already looking good. Hopefully the Wall Corvette will be repaired, need to confirm that with Des though.

Does anybody know how big the grid can be for a full grid of sports sedans at Eastern Creek!!!! It would be great if there was at least 30 + cars!!! Now that would be something to watch!!! B) :D :D

I remember when i was flag marshalling a couple of years ago eastern creek held the biggest historic meeting in OZ. There was something like 350-400 cars from here and NZ. The group n had 55 cars on the grid and i was at pit exit. Gee that was a site with that many cars streeming through. 30 sports sedans would be an amazing site...Great sound too...

While I am not 100% sure I think track density for Sport Sedans is 32 cars at Eastern Creek although it's a figure I heard years ago so it has more then likely changed.
Great to see so many cars entered, especially impressed with all the Queensland entries. I don't know how you guys put up with doing all that traveling, Mallala must be a complete mission! Although Tony R would know all about long distance travel too!

I think track density is as previously stated, 32 for SS. The sad thing is that we do not need to concern ourselves with that. With a couple of scratchings at this stage we have, Ricciadello, Hossack, Gillon, Tamasi, Nelson, Senese, G Smith, Crompton, Butler, Baily, Youlden, Wall(doubtful, still waiting on panels from US) Young, Bradford, C Smith, Jameson, McGinniss, Jackson, Ervin, Camm, Macready, Axisa. If all get there, 22 is not a bad field, should be some good racing. Bring it on!!

If the report in Motorsport News this week about Youlden's Mustang being sold is accurate does this mean he won't be running in the series anymore?

Also noticed in this weeks programe the V8TC are running with the sports sedans which should bump the grid up by about 4 or 5 cars...
