Thanks for the pic JD...I wonder how well this car went. Seems loke most Escort S/Sedans had any powerplant other than a 4cly Ford. The blue rotary powered one from QLD (John English I think) were seriously fast.

Yeah I have also wondered about that for many years, they can make heaps of power and are very robust engines. T
I suppose the cost factor is what turns people off, but then again building a decent V8 is not cheap either!


I looked into a boxer engine, you couldn't mid mount one because their so wide, the driver wouldn't have enough room. Most sports sedans struggle with a v8.


Does anyone have a copy of the national rules? with the rev limits ect.
