Its was a huge effort by all involved...
We were lucky that Barry Bray had come over for a weeks holiday, Bazz hadnt planned to stay for the race meeting but were lucky he did! I reckon if there was one less person it wasnt going to happen!
As for the brakes there wasnt a lot of material left on the pads and was surprised they lasted as long as they did...
It was funny Saturday night... Darren was moving the seat around for him to fit better and asked do the brakes work!? I said they did when I used them last, mind you I did crash into a tyre wall!
Darren did a great job considering he hadnt driven the car before and the first time was going from the garage to the dummy grid Sunday morning, and being LHD drive is always a bit daunting... Everytime you go flatout around the back kink I always thought if something went wrong I was going to be the crumple zone!
Big thanks to John, Darren and Bazz for getting the car back together, it was rushed but it is together again!
As for what I am going to do with it now...?
I hadnt planned to do anything with the car till later in the year/early next year anyway...
Bazz is helping to put the Stanza back together (BIG THANKS THERE BAZZA!!!), and Im hoping to get some work done on the FX before the year is out...
Want to get some priorities in order, I had the FX and Stanza long before the Falcon, and everyone keeps asking me about them so need to get the completed before I should play with the Falcon...
