Sports Sedan Forum

Hi Guys,


Sports sedans being such a unique class leaving much design and thought put into these things, this place
deserves a dedicated technical section. The technical section could be used for interrupting rules to helping out
fellow racers with technical advice for their cars. I know most people wouldn't like the idea of asking for help
over the internet, but with the wide range of knowledge on here it could potentially help some people who are
stuck in a pickle greatly.


The section 'Talk To The Drivers and Teams', it is never used, rather pointless, could the mod team re-name it to the 'technical section'.


We have such a unique class, what's stopping us talking about what makes it unique.


What's your thoughts on this idea?

That is a great idea. I for one would ask questions.

The competitors section contains all the tech rules and sporting regs and they have to be read on top of the CAMS requirements for all cars.

This forum thread can become the base for interpretation if you like and the ouitcome can be added to the competitors section.

A technical section would be great. I personally enjoy the engineering side of motor racing so having other like minded people discussing various race car technologies etc would be cool.

Being new to the class after many years with Speedway having sowhere to ask tech questions
would be very helpful.
