Sports Sedan Forum

Hi, just new on the forum. Have bought a datsun 120y sports sedan with a 13b pp engine. Has a rx5 gearbox in it and gear changes are a bit slow as the gearbox feels old and clunky if that makes sense. Just want something that is quicker to shift or something just for racing thats in the right price range (hollinger would be nice haha) . If anyone can help that would be great.

I have a S5 13B Turbo 5 speed that i shortened the selector rods to fit in a RX3. It was fine behind a 250kw 12A Turbo, should be good for your 13B PP in the $1.20Y. The ratio's would be too far apart for ideal, but there are few shops that put close ratio gears in if you got the money.

Mate i not too sure. Its left hand drive. It used to be white but its now resprayed to orange and silver. It was in bathurst when i got it and thats where i from too. Old mate i bought it off was meant to of done a heap of work to it but bullshitted me a bit i think cause i now replacing a heap of parts on it ( i bought it off a car salesman haha ) But they reckon it used to be a good thing. Hanging to get it on the track.

I in Bathurst.... i won't be running it this year but next for sure... Just getting a bit of practice in and get used to the car before i kick off. Hanging out for it but.
