Any word on when they may start running the historic sport sedans. Tony Edmonson Alfa is one car you will see on track. Anybody know of any other cars that may hit the track. Love to see Clem smiths charger in action

I think Mark Trenworth still has the John McCormack Jaguar. And it is still in Unipart colours as well. The Des Wall Supra is the old Bob Jane/Peter Brock Monza, and he has/had (not sure if he still has it) the ex Colin Bond A9X Hatchback Torana sports sedan.

Not quite right. Trenworth had two Jags. The second car which ran in Colourbond livery (I think) and was driven by Gary Scott forms the basis of the Roddy car. The McCormack car was restored and I believe even ran at the Noosa Hillclimb recently.

Does Trenworth still own the car, and Gary Scott did did the McCormack car during the last year that it raced, and he drove the new XJS, once that was completed. Is Bryan Thompson's old 450 SL Twin Turbo Merc still around.

Geoff Munday had the Merc for awhile and sold it to Roger ??? who is a kiwi. Roger entered our series at PI a few years ago and blew the engine and then he went back to NZ. He drove it competitively in the Super Saloon series. He now drives something else as well. Maybe he sold the Merc??

I think it would be really interesting if the Sports Sedan Assoc. could organise a get together (sho/collection) at 1 or the rounds this year of all the historic Sports Sedans that are still around. Eg: The HDT Torana of Colin Bond, The McCormack Jag, the original Alfa of Tony Edmundson, and others. As I would love to see that, and I would definitely try my hardest not to miss that round. If the Assoc. did this would it be done at the normal CAMS National Series Round, or would you do it at a stand alone round. :D

Des had the ex HDT Torana (which is a sedan, not a hatchback) still and is in the process of restoring along with the Jane Monaro which Tino Leo owned for an eternity. I am not sure which specs he would be converting that back to.
