Hi All
We have purchased a project that was started by Riverside Racing.
Much of the car is assembled and tack welded and ready for full welding.
The Basic body shape was created by Gary at Riverside Racing using wood, sheet metal, glue
Screws and sticky tape. The shape has then been refined with bog (lots of it)
And hard work sanding, Most of this was done by my father in law (ex panel beater)
George.

I am putting up a few photos of how we are going.
We have never made car moulds before . This is a learning exercise
For us.
This is not a how to thread. But if you get any good ideas or motivation to try
For yourself that a good thing.

Hi Mopar
Rear end is a quick-change independent,
Motor is out of the commodore
GM bowtie 18deg inline lifter block, with gm sb2.2 heads,
Morrison throttle bodies.
I will swop to the Chev NASCAR motor when it is eligable

All the chassis work so far is the credit of Riverside racing, it is a great foundation for
rice racing to build upon.
Yes the green will be the base color of the finished car

Those ally front rocker arms are identical to the ones I had on my Falcon up to its demise in 2003. Still have them if you need another pair.

The rear coil overs are lying flat on the floor, must have an interesting set of links to the rear uprights, would love to see a pic of that next time.

The original concept as I understand it, was to have a long offset bellcrank, the top crank to the pushrod
As per many other cars, but the idea was to run a shaft down to the lower level where the other leg of the crank
Would attach to the shocks. None of this has been built yet and although I like the idea of having the shocks
out of harms way, I hope to come up with a different set up as I don’t like the idea of the long shaft creating the offset.
I will post a rear end shot on the weekend.
