Hi everyone.
I've just joined the forum, had a read of some threads, and like what I see.
I own a yellow and purple coloured Isuzu Bellett that is log booked as a U2L Sports Sedan, but I just do some club stuff with it ATM. It's alot of fun, but I just wish I could get more time to race it more often! I guess that's a problem we all have.
This brings me to my thread subject tho. I'm wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of Bruce De Boo's Bellett sedan.
It was white, usually had number 44 on it, sponsorship from "Soneric Communications", and was powered by a 13B turbo.
The car was originally built in Sydney, Bruce then bought it and returned to Melbourne, raced it into the mid 90's, then he built a red and yellow S4 RX7 and sold the Bellett back to Sydney, but I'm told (from 2 different sources) that he later bought it back from the last Sydney owner and it ended up in Melbourne again, but it hasn't been seen or heard of since.
as you'll all know, sadly Bruce passed away a few years ago, and I'm told his son, Troy, now owns the RX7, but nobody knows what happened to the Bellett...
I'm trying to find Bruce's Bellett because, being an early Isuzu tragic with up-een Bellett road and race cars, I'd like to "rescue" it and, if possible, race it again someday too.
Any info is greatly appreciated!
Cheers.
Brett.
