I wonder if they'd loan me an engine for my supra :)

Could it be a testing ground for Lexus/toyota to enter the V8 Supercar championship in the next couple of years?

It'll never race in the Kerrick series Nadz - it doesn't comply with Sports Sedan regs.

Here's some more info:

Can I assume the opening in the rear of the front guards would be a concern??? What else would not allow it to run??

Yep, bodywork issues to begin with. You'd need to take a measuring stick to that rear wing too. Not sure aout the bonnet vents, but they look like they might be oversized too? Haven't seen the roll cage/chassis, but as these were built in Switzerland they might not comply with Schedule J either. And as they have only been talking about a future desire to maybe race these cars, I'm not even sure they've gone down the road of trying to get CAMS logbooks yet mate.

I went to the Nsw sports sedan meeting last Tuesday and there are a few proposals about bringing the bodywork up to date to coincide what people thing should be allowed to make the cars look more modern regardless of the cars age.One included letting the rear wing be the width of the car.Perhaps if some of the proposals put forward are approved cars like the Lexus would be able to run wether on a state or national basis, Of course the flares would have to be enclosed but looking at the pictures of the car it looks like it woudn't be that hard to do.Another suggeston was to make the vents bigger and allow them on the guards and bonnet. In all honesty even with the car in this configuration, would it beat John Gourlay's Audi, or Tony's car don't think so,with these type of cars being built being close to sports sedan specifications surely they would be a welcome
addition to the best class of racing in the world.
