Just asking has the 6L limit been lifted as I have noticed that there has been a few cars that have been running as high as 427 cubes or 7.2L ?????

what cars?
I seen that a C6 Z06 which runs a 427 cube small block ran on the weekend in sports sedans (NSW) and I have also seen that the OZ trucks which have 6.2L have also been running in sports sedans over the past 12 months so how are they getting a start?
By the way not complaining, I love the vette and the oz trucks but i have just bought a car from the states and it currently has a 6.3L donk and if I didnt have to touch it that would be great.
I am looking at doing the state rounds later this year.

That Corvette was entered as a 6L, maybe it had a LS6 in it?

nsw sports sedans has written into there regs that we can 'invite' cars to race with us. they arent eligible for points within sports sedans tho.
the trucks have there own mini point score system within the nsw state rounds.
if you want to be a legit sports sedan and score points etc you will need to go back to 6L. It will also depend on your car weather you are invited or not.
for example if your 6.3L is in a chassis that will wipe the floor your not going to get a start, sports sedans are the spectacle so we arent just
inviting any car that asks. Theres a bit going on with that at the moment as well. Your still going to need to log book your car with whatever category it
falls under as you wont get a sports sedan log book with that engine too.
chris jackson is the best person to speak to if you want to run this year and id do it soon so if letters of authorisation etc need to be done it
can get underway. the committee needs to vote on it as well etc
check the nsw sports sedan website for details

I can vouch for mrboost, it def was listed as a 6l on natsoft timing... Im pretty sure that vette is actually a production sports car, maybe he got an invite to run due to missing out on bathurst this weekend????... Quick question boschvette.... Why is your car a 6.3l when it is in fact a trans am spec car???.

Hey mate its not a trans am spec car it is very much on the same lines as the vette that ran on the weekend. It is a 2003 vette with a late model engine my guess is that it should be a 1.37 to 1.39 sec eastern creek car.It was biult for a series in Texas called monster muscle.
