Good luck to the Henley Racing team and team of regular Sports Sedan Competitors at this years 12 Hour!

Phil Crompton, Michael Robinson, Shane Woodman and Shane Bradford are sharing one of the RX8's, while Bruce Henley, Jason Cowley, Mark King and Jason Walsh are sharing the other car. The cars are racing in Class I, with opposition coming from the MARC Focus's which will be tough to beat.

I believe a successful test day was held at Phillip Island yesterday with drivers getting plenty of laps to acclimatize with the mighty rotors!

Looking forward to catching up with a lot of our forum members at the Mountain that weekend where the real racing will be. (and the sounds of crickets will be echoing through the stands at SMP for the V8SC wank fest test day)

Should be a cracker race, surprised Shane didn't drag you along to help crew Henleys RX8's CD???

I'll be there from Saturday morning onwards mate, not sure in what capacity but I'm keen to help out if needed.

I am up there from Friday morning until Monday at this stage. Our campsites are right on the chase this year so will be in around there mostly as we get pretty lazy being on a holiday and all.

So how did Shane and Phil find the Rx8 to drive CD? I am assuming they are running the two white cars Sahlen cars and not the regular blue / yellow McDreamy Rx8?

I think it is the two Sahlen cars, but i'm not 100% sure on that. All four drivers got plenty of laps in at the Jan 21st test day at PI. I believe all four drivers were pretty happy with the car and they managed some fairly comparative and competitive times on varying fuel loads.

I'm arriving on Friday night so will be hanging around on Saturday and Sunday doing whatever the team would like me to do to help out. Can't wait!
