Judd v8 engine

Just saw clip on youtube of a mercedes touring car with a sweet sounding judd V8. Man that thing is cool. I wonder if any sports sedan drivers considered dropping one of these in a smaller chassis. from what i know they are an ex formula one engine so revs would have to be dropped in order to fit with the category. Would be interesting

Yeah the rules state a production block or a recognised reproduction of a production block is required. The Judd motor is a pure competition engine
so it would be illegal in Sport Sedans and you're right they do sound bloody awesome!

I have seen that BMW up close on a trip to Germany and trust me it is an awesome car. It runs a lot of Super Tourer spec suspension parts and the aero parts were tested in a wind tunnel, even has an electric paddle shift system too.
