I'm looking for an old car I built over many years with Gregg who owned it.
We ran in the days with Keith Carling and Bob Tindal.

i'm looking for Gegg mcShane's old XBCoupe.
i helped Gregg build that back in the 80's and it he hit it's straps in the early mid 90's before Gregg left us.

it was an XB Falcon Coupe that was in MOMO livery but went to WA and then back east.
Last I heard, it was back in VIC or Tassi.....?

If anyone knows where it is I would appreciate my details heading to the current owner.

Hey BJ, welcome to the Forum.. Yes it's true, the old girl still exists, though she's a little different looking, most of the suspension etc. is still the same. It now runs a Supercar engine and Holinger box.
Paddy made a big effort to get it to the Oran Park farewell for his first meeting in it, and a heap of people remembered it, along with 1 or 2 who had worked on it.
He's had it out one more time, at Sandown early last year, before unfortunately Paddy had a nervous breakdown and shifted to Tasmania. He took the old girl with him, much to the dismay of the owners of the Spirit of Tasmania as they had to reduce the passenger load to accomodate the old girls weight.. :o
I've emailed him with all your contact details, and as soon as they let him out i'm sure he'll be in contact with you... :D

I really appreciate the info people have passed on.

I hope paddy can get professional help and decent medication for his tassie experience. I hope he feels better soon. :stare:

I'm still attached to the old girl. We used to call her the barge back when Gregg started racing her. Back when the other sports sedans were scared as we were the only car on the track that had all steel panels. Funnily enough, At Amaroo, No one came near it.

Her arse still looks big in yellow.

Hope to speak with Paddy soon.

Oh, and Rev in Peace Gregg.
