I'll back sub-20's, just. Although the Audi will probably knock out a 1:12 or something ridiculous......... :)

I think you are right about sub 20's Chris, a 15 is probably more realistic although not a lot of science in my calculation. Do you know what time Grant Watson done on the demo lap.

No Bob, didn't get a lap time on Grant, but he wasn't trying too hard because the track was very dirty/dusty.....

Yeah, a 15 sounds about right for Pole, the usual gap then back to us mere mortals ;)

We weren't too far off with the guesstimate on the lap times!!! Obviously we had no idea how quick the new series of corners would be, but we were close!!

1:12.6 was the fastest lap in Qualifying. I thought 15's for Pole, but the Audi and Saab were just in a class of their own all weekend!

Sub and early 20's for the rest of us though, how awesome was the new section of track! Full biscuit, on the limiter in 5th through the fast left sweeper off the existing track before braking to tip it into the sweeping right hander, mega stuff!!

Congratulations to all who competed, I had an absolute ball. Top job to Scott Butler, who got his head around the place very quickly and was on the money from the first session on Friday!! Well done Scott.

Special mention to our QLD State competitors and in particular all the guys that made the long trip north from the southern states. I hope you all had a great weekend up in sunny QLD and hope to have you back here again next year.

Cheers,
CD.

Thanks Falcon EL, it was a great weekend with good clean racing all weekend. For what we spend on the car, I think it goes pretty well. I enjoyed the Morgan Park track and looking forward to Eastern Creek which I am very familar with and should be a bit more consistant

Cheers Nadz,

I had a great run in Race 1, couldn't deal with Bobby's pace (he was flying), but had a great race with Crompo who was all over me the whole way! Awesome race!

We totally outsmarted ourselves for Races 2 and 3 because we were adjusting Fuel Pressure and working with a faulty gauge!!! So, we should have left it alone after Race 1 because there was nothing really wrong with it... In the last two Races, it was cutting out and missing and farting and about 2 seconds a lap off where it should have been.

Even so for Race 3, the car was still running well enough, Dean Camm and I were out-limping each other because he had Clutch drama's and mine was cutting out and stopping, but my DNF in Race 3 was caused by muggins putting 29.75 Litres of fuel in the car when 30.0 Litres would have got me to the finish line........ BAAAAAAAAAA to me...
