the Sports Sedan cars in the FIA WEC

Th coming of the World Endurance Championship in Australia in the 80s was a good opportunity to national contenders to give to best world eams/machines/drivers for their money. It was particularly a good occasion for us, europeans, to see/discover exotic cars which used to run the Australian Sports Car Championship or at the date(?) the defunct Australian Sports Sedan Championship.

Be that as it may, despite strong effort, the Australian cars showed more looking impressive than really efficient on the track. Nevertheless, my interest for these special cars was strong yet and went growing. Unfortunately, despite my effort, it still remains difficult to find reliable information (notably technical data), documents (press articles or private archives) and/or pics (free for use especially as I want to use them for my website).

Is anybody able to help me by providing me what I'm looking for?
