C'mon all you welders, i'm interested to hear this too............Does it really matter, i would have thought as long as you can weld you could use an old arc....!!!!!!!!

Htc's car in the chassis jig....historic monocoque.
Some one must have a good welder to recommend.

I personally use a Fronius. The MagicWave 1700 is good for DC/steel and excellent for AC/aluminium. I also understand that Miller, Kemppi and Esab are excellent too.

Cheers mate, ended up with a Fronius and a little CIG.
