Where are they now??

I am pretty sure the Lusty's bought the Celica off Bruce McGowan. I definitely have some footage of it racing under Lusty ownership at Sandown in the early 80's.

WWW.oldracephotos.com (awesome web site for motor racing photos). Go to the Advance search feature and type in "Sports Sedan" and there are pages of memories.

Is that the Paul Gulson version you are refferring to? I saw it about 10 years ago at i think Sandown in the hands of Don Hume.. They also had a pretty quick Toyota MR2 that ran in the late 90s... Not sure if the Hume's still own the Mini......

They don't own the mini anymore, not to sure what happened to it...

mr2 was a unique thing, rear engine rotary with an alloy monocoque chassis.

There was a rotary mini for sale a while back on my105. It looked more like a track day car as opposed to an old Sports Sedan. I was thinking at the time it would be a pretty crazy little car to have tucked away in the garage. Was about 10K

You appear to have confused the old TT Merc/chev with the Trenoweths XJS. There never was a TT V12 Jag.

The earlier colourbond XJS is still in the hands of Mark Trenoweth.

In fact, he recently dusted it off and began racing it again in Historic Sports Sedans

And some more.............anyone recognize the red Escort, heard its an ex Lansvale Smash car? the red Camaro of Jarrett is the Templer car running today.

Hi,

Nice shots, I like my old mans Monaro in there too. Not too many photo's of it lying around. Do any of you guys have any photo's of Laurie's Chev Capri he built after the Monaro? It was one of the first mid mounted transaxle spaceframe cars in the country. I remember hanging out in Jim Richards truck with the JPS girls at Amaroo when he was racing it. We only have one or two photo's of it.
