I've seen the body panels for this thing and the plans to have them moulded for the vents to be sealed off. Will be an awesome looking car when it's done.

I'm surprised nobody hasn't attacked one of these cars previously.

The picture Famous put up is a special one off car with an after market body kit that is quite different to a standard road going model of that particular Supra....They are quite a nice looking car and would suit a sports sedan...

As long as it's higher than 40mm off the deck, you're all good famous!

It's a hard to get off the shelf body kit, mount it, mould it, paint it, mid mount it and race it !!

I hope thats 40mm off the ground to the floor and not ground to the roof ? As I dont think I would fit Falcon Boy ! :(

Lower then 40mm ? Would be good at QR at turn 1 . It would be like Troy Baylis knee sliders ? Just sparkes and molten metal ! B)

Were did you finnish in the 1 hour holden race ?

Yeah have to agree a newish Supra shape would look pretty good as a Sport Sedan
When do you think it will hit the track? Are you putting a new body over the existing chassis FAMOUS?

I hope not. That Supra is part of Sports Sedan folklore.

It will be two separate cars, or three with the current JZA80 being used as a donor for body moulds and measurements. Once the body is done the new chassis will get underway ( if it's not already ) from what i understand. My hand will be up for a body and chassis one when it's completed !!

Pull your finger out you big unit and get it happening !! B)

Ricey asked:
All i am really asking for at this stage is that next time NASSA meet to discuss rule changes
that i be permitted to make a presentation re R07 costs, preferably in person, and while we think
about costs lets look at say a current ford D spec 5 L V8SC motor costs ( legal ) vs. R07.
-Hands down an R07 is cheaper.

Phils reply: already has been done.
