Absolutely awesome pics plr. In one post you have covered off probably 14 of the top 20 greatest sports sedans we have seen racing in Oz. I never realised Robin had the BMW in yellow. THe BMW history is quite confusing, will have to start a separate thread to discuss them.

As for Bob's Commodore, it seems that he changed the colour scheme every year on that weapon.

What is the car in the back ground of Tino Leo's Monaro? It looks almost like a Nascar shell.

Great photos plr1 thanks for posting them!

Never realised Bob Jolly's Commodores had so many face lifts over the years, how many cars did he build? The orange VS is still getting around in Victoria isn't it?

One other thing but Carlings series 4 RX7 looks to have a turbo engine in it going by the massive intercooler sitting in the front, was this always the case or did it ever have rotary in it? I seem to recall talk that it was powered by a Nissan turbo motor?

One of the Bob Jolly Commodores lives at Esk (QLD) and is owned by the Mayor of Esk . I believe they are rebuilding it to race sprints and Hill climbs? :p

I like the version of my supra it looks at little different these days . What year were these photos taken?

The picture of Kerry in the supra (which you now own Famous), I think would be from 1988-89, as he always runs the number 28, and as you can see he is running 29. This was because when he sold his torana, the new owner kept that number until the Kerry was able to get it back again, when the car was not registered with cams again.

Love the old look of that car, and Kerry said that when he debut the car, everyone thought it was the Monza of Bob Jane's. :D. Will have to see if i can find the pic that was taken before Kerry debut the car for you Famous.

Yeah it had a similar look to the Monza in that photo. What was the setup on the car, it ran a Hewland back then didn't it but now it doesn't??

Yes it did run a Hewland Transaxle, Kerry transferred this to the 300ZX when that was built, and Calvert setup the car to run a Nascar style engine, with an 9 Inch Independent Rear End. Still a quick car. What was you going to do with it Famous. Leave that setup.
