We had ours at Sulman Park. Bathurst Council were quite helpful. The ceremony was on the western Edge where there was a stand of 5 trees in the shape of a V. I was happy, Mrs was also happy it is a nice area with views to the west. Had to go up the day before and mow the lawn though!!!

There you go Nick. You should have taken more of an interest in the planning!!!

LOL good bloody luck! you have an understanding mrs proey!
ill have my best man on natsoft duty all day of the wedding..... someone PLEASE PLEASE get video of the first lap over the big mountain, gives me shivers down the spine!
Though it just wont sound the same without the fiat, i finally got to hear it in january when the old man stepped into it after 14 years.... after bringing it in with the rear floor unattached and big spin marks out of the esses up the hill at winton... after just two laps he just says 'dont remember it having that much power'
I know im biased...... but that car is the sweetest thing ive ever heard

Well what a weekend.

Not one damaged car, just a few mechanical gremlins.

A BIG thankyou to Sean and Helen for their work to make this event happen.

Would I come back.......without a doubt we would!!!!

Sports Sedans at Bathurst, absolutely amazing.

I saw a few damaged cars including a white Mazda with broken front suspension that was collected by Shiels in the last race first corner.

Someone received the black flag in the last race....who?

Congratulations to the guys up the front for the first corner mayhem in race 2, obviously they thought they were racing for a sheep station. Great to get 4 laps behind a safety car then 2 racing laps. Well done guys...

Black flag was car 150, Shepherd. Passing under yellow flag. He ignored it and ended up with a time penalty.

He wasn't the only one. Race results have been altered after the 1st & 2nd place getters both got time penalties. 1st & 2nd positions have been reversed, so Michael Robinson is officially our winner and Stuart Inwood now 2nd place. Steve Shiels still 3rd.

Didn't see or hear about a white Mazda in turn 1. Any details Phil? Would be handy to know for the race report. One of the Oztrucks got beached in turn 1 after he was clipped and the front spoiler folded under the front. He was pulled out and the spoiler removed and he continued. Maybe it was that incident?

Sometimes thats racing for you jeff, unfortunately the incident wasnt the only reason that racing was held up, didnt help that the tractor that come to help got bogged too, that pretty much killed 3 laps..

Dont agree with Nadz44, we were there for fun why couldn't they give each other some room. If they had made it round turn 1 thery would not have needed the tractor then it would not have got bogged. Glad it was not me that stuffed it for the other 30 odd competitors...

All our cars left in their transporters on all four wheels (well maybe except for Bob's).

A lot of cars in other categories were trowelled and shovelled into transporters for the long trip home.

I thought the comments made at drivers briefing about racing room were self explanitory.

Obviously some only heard something about a sheep station up for grabs?

Yeah the two safety cars were not ideal, however we were the only category to get our full allocated track time.

All the other categories had red flag periods in their practice and SC in some of their races.

All in all we had an absolute ball and have total admiration for those who can get any car around there in sub 2:08's.

Cannot wait to do it all again some day.

I must say i did see the first corner incident on the big screen at mcphilamy park, didnt think there was alot in it, both cars went in together, they touched and the rest is history, seen it plenty of times at bathurst before...
