From what i read there are 25 cars for the year... So not too bad i reckon, hope to see plenty of state cars out to play when the nationals are at the creek...

Not too sure on numbers as of yet, there should be a decent turnout for the first round although we will be missing a certain grey Fiat!!!! As for the Soarer I believe it should be out later in the year.

Weather would have played havoc out there today at Eastern Creek. Interested to see those Oz Trucks running with the Sports Sedans. I can't understand why the people behind the class wish to introduce yet another new category into this country.

(Very sad news regarding the passing of a F Vee driver from an accident on the Saturday(.

I was reading the Natsoft results from Eastern Creek Sports Sedans and noticed that there is some weird engine capacity's listed like a MK 1 Escort at over 7 litres...Oz trucks at 6.2 litres Graham Smiths Calibra over 7 litres....is this correct or am i asuming the abbreviation Cap at the top of the column does not stand for Capacity....

Weather would have played havoc out there today at Eastern Creek.

It sure did but there was some good racing nevertheless, a few cars didn't have wets so they couldn't run.
About 1 minute before the trophy race the officials said the use of wets was optional as the track was no longer officially wet...didn't matter because it rained again later in the race anyway! Well done to Damien Jameson on taking out his first state series trophy race, a good effort!

Interested to see those Oz Trucks running with the Sports Sedans.

They are running on an invitational basis and were a welcome addition to the class.

I can't understand why the people behind the class wish to introduce yet another new category into this country.
Yeah me too, there are too many classes as it is!

Where were the 20+ cars?????

There were 19 entered, Garry Stevens and Andrew Leithead were early scratchings due to some unforeseen circumstances. A few cars had dramas in qualifying and the wet weather relegated some cars to the garage as they didn't have wets.
